This is the official blog for NR3′s mission trip to Oaxaca, Mexico from July 5 to 10, 2010. NR3 is the college and singles group at Salem Evangelical Church in Salem, OR.

While in Oaxaca, we will be pouring concrete floors for a half-dozen or so houses during our first three days (Tuesday through Thursday). On Friday, we will distribute food boxes to residents in the same community that we’ve been working in. In both actions, we will be working with a pastor who is trying to build a church. By helping his neighbors in the community, we will aid this pastor in beginning the church by initiating contact with these local residents.
